Lake Country 3.5 inch Flat Foam Pads are a new take on a classic buffing pad. Lake Country's flat 6.5 inch foam pads set the standard for dual action buffing pads. Now they're available in these smaller 3.5 inch pads. Lake Country 3 inch Flat Foam Pads have a tapered edge with a full contact face that made the original pads so popular but their slim size opens up new possibilities. 3.5 inch Flat Foam Pads work great on both rotary polishers and dual action polishers. There are some areas on your vehicle where a 4 inch or 5.5 inch pad is simply too large. These compact pads allow the polisher to work more efficiently in smaller areas by reducing the footprint of the machine. The smaller pads can also give the operator more of a feel for the pad's motion. The size of Lake Country 3.5 inch Flat Foam Pads make them an ideal choice for isolated defect removal, like scratches and scuff marks.

Lake Country 3.5 inch Flat Foam Pads are made of imported German foam that reduces heat build-up and spontaneous heat transfer between the machine and the pad. The beveled edge lessens the risk of cookie-cutting because there are no stiff edges to dig into the paint if you accidentally tilt the polisher. The Lake Country Flat Pads feature a "Simple 6" idea. This easy to understand system keeps your pad colors and uses consistent throughout the CCS and Flat Lake Country Pads.

	Yellow Cutting Flat 3.5 inch Foam Pad - Use this pad to apply compounds or polishes to remove severe oxidation, swirls, and scratches. It is the most aggressive and should only be used on oxidized and heavily swirled finishes. Always follow this pad with a white or gray pad and a fine polish to refine the paint until it is smooth.
	Orange Light Cutting Flat 3.5 inch Foam Pad - Firm, high density foam for scratch and defect removal. Use this pad with polishes and swirl removers. It’s an all around pad that will work on most light to moderate imperfections.
	White Heavy Polishing Flat 3.5 inch Foam Pad - Less dense foam formula for the application of cleaner waxes, one step polishes, or "all in one" type products. This pad has very light cutting power, so it's perfect for pre-wax cleaners.
	Green Polishing/AIO Flat 3.5 inch Foam Pad - Use this foam to apply one-step cleaner waxes. It is a balance of polishing and finishing that is perfect for all-in-one product application.
	Blue Light Polishing Flat 3.5 inch Foam Pad – This pad is not as dense as the green polishing pad and provides little cutting ability. Generally used to polish to perfect, this pad will leave a high shine on the surface. Perfect for use with a finishing glaze, last-step polish, and some all-in-one cleaner polishes.
	Black Finishing Flat 3.5 inch Foam Pad - Composition is firm enough to withstand added pressure during final finishing to remove buffer swirls. It has no cut and will apply thin, even coats of waxes, sealants, and glazes.

For optimum results, it’s best to own each type of pad. Compounding with a yellow or orange pad may leave a light haze. You will need the white or black pad to refine the paint to its original shine and texture. The blue or red pad will then give you a uniform wax application.

We suggest using these smaller pads with a dual action polisher equipped with a 3 inch flexible backing plate for safe yet effective polishing.
