Not only can the Speed Master Clay Mitt be used with clay lubricant to decontaminate your car when dry, it can also be used during the car washing process, when the surface is lubricated with soap. You can save a step by doing the decontamination at the same time as the wash. The clay surface of the mitt will glide over the slick car surface, only hitting a rough spot when it hits a contaminant, that will be quickly removed. To use again, simply remove all lose debris, clean with BLACKFIRE Synthetic Clay Mitt Cleaner, and rinse!
Directions for Use:
*Pro-Tip: Work only on a cool surface and out of direct sunlight.
When washing:
When using the Clay Mitt during your regular washing routine, first remove all lose dirt and debris.
Submerge the Clay Mitt in your bucket of soapy water and use the mitt your vehicle one panel at a time.
Be sure to start at the top and make your way toward the bottom to avoid cross contamination.
Regularly reload the Clay Mitt with soap and water for ample lubrication.
Rinse and dry your vehicle as normal.
When using clay lubricant:When using Clay Mitt on its own with a dedicated clay lubricant, first wash the car to remove all loose dirt and debris.
Spray a liberal amount of clay lubricant onto the surface, working one panel at a time.
Gently move the Clay Mitt back and forth across the paint in a crisscrossing pattern.
Dry the panel you’ve just worked on before moving on to the next panel.
